Day 24 (389) January 24, 2019

Contrasting Colors – A Photo a Week / Which Way Photo / Kammie’s Oddball / Range – FOWC / Vagrant – RDP / Haunting – WODC

There are a number of ways I could describe this.  Most are inappropriate or crude.  But I think this is one of my favorite sky pictures yet.  Woke up this morning with ice still packed on the driveway, snow still covering the grass and fields, temperatures around 40 with a gentle breeze.  Left work in 60 degree weather, close to 2 inches of rain, and flooding waters replacing those snow packs.  Came home to 35 degree, 30 mph cold winds with snow flurries.  You want to talk about bipolar?  I really feel the sky captured the day pretty well.  The only things missing would be some indicator of the wind and the flooding. Not that I would have noticed. I was too busy looking up.

      1. I know your musical knowledge base is broader than mine, which is one reason I like reading you.

Do you like Metallica? I don’t even know if I’ve ever heard any of their songs but they played Sweet Home Alabama at a concert that my nephew went to and he loved it.

        I liked the juxtaposition.
