Day 19 (384) – January 19, 2019

Cityscapes – Lens-Artists / Unusual Perspective – Cee’s B&W / Repeating Patterns – Weekly Photo / Six Word Saturday / Snowman – Weekly Prompts Photo / Weekend B&W / Mitigate – FOWC / Cook – RDP / Intelligence – WODC

Getting back on track today.  I thought I might use some intelligence when it came to today’s challenges.  I realized that I should just make it easier on myself and mitigate through photos that would match the prompts.  While three of them were from today, I actually broke my own rule and used one from the trip I took in October through Nashville.  By posting the 4, not only do you have more to view, I am not struggling to work in the challenges.I am hoping the photos are easily matched with their challenge.  I have to say I am very happy with how the icicles came out in b&w.  While the color ones were nice, this one was striking to me.  The fence and side of the house was found in a town pretty close to me.  At first I just wanted to catch the tree on the side and comment on how that it would be a struggle for me to want to take it down, as well. But the patterns in the fence and the trellis, made it a fun subject to catch.  And finally, I actually saw the snowman prompt  right before I published this post so I knew I had to cook something up fast.  Luckily, the on again off again potential for snow/ice/wintry mess, produced a snow burst, and I realized I could probably build one quick.  I geared up, took Anastasia out for a run in her element, to catch a snowman.  I would call the results a success.

    1. I had 3 to choose from. I think I liked the definition on this one. I think it captures that there are different ones instead of one clump. I also did a few in color. The black and white look so much better.
