Coming Attractions

Day 362 – December 28, 2018

Sequence – Weekly Photo / All about Nature – Cee’s Black and White / Weekend Black & White / Week 17 – Pull Up a Seat / Adventure – FOWC / Goal – WODC /   Day 28 – December Squares

This was one of those times where I just had to post a photo, no matter what.  I need to document that we, as a family, set out on an adventure as we went to dinner and then caught a movie. One of those goals we set whenever we can, but often fail to materialize, as there was always one that would mess up the plan.   On top of that, no one yelled, screamed, pulled hair, slapped, crossed the invisible line, argued, spilled milk, complained, conspired, coerced, accused, threatened, snitched, irritated, teased, ganged up on, or fought.  It would have to be the first time in about 2 years that we went out, in public, together, and it was long overdue.  In just over 4 days, two of them will be heading their separated directions while the middle one will be hanging out a little longer until the spring semester begins again.  The house will once again fall silent and the dishes in the kitchen sink will no longer be piled high.  The hot water will, once again, be plentiful as the cold showers will no longer be a thing.  Yes despite all of that, the days have been filled with laughter, voices, fun and love.  Wouldn’t want it any other way.

    1. I was just lamenting on that. It’s crazy. I had a colleague tell me when I first started teaching to enjoy it. It goes by faster than you know. 22 years later, I am telling new teachers the same thing. But imploring them to not get caught up in all the extras you can do in the school.
