I mentioned yesterday that my attention was drawn to the site by a flash I caught out of the corner of my eye. If you look on the right, that flash was caught by one of the glass luminaries that line the entire grounds. And by entire, I mean if there is a sidewalk there are lights. I returned tonight, and because I has an appointment late, I was able to drive past after sundown which made my timing perfect. There are a few bright lamplights that shine here and there, but generally its only the little candles. That is probably why the night photos aren’t as clear as I was hoping. Still, it is a very magical site. It, once again, allowed for the rush of the day to calm and the soul to ease. Another great way to end another day. My only thoughts that I couldn’t shake were, thank goodness they are photosensitive battery operated candles, and that it must really be a pain in the ass to go and replace the dead ones? Friday is upon us! We are grateful for the very notion of you and even more for grateful for the reality.

I love these lights, they’re like mini airport runways. I was intrigued by the little spaceship to the right of the doorway on the first picture; queuing up to land perhaps? 🙂
