Can I tell you how happy I am that we are in a “square” month? Ā I don’t know what it is about this challenge, but it is right up there with all my other faves! And what a great prompt – time. Ā This shouldn’t be anywhere near as much of a struggle that “pink” was, and I think the creative options will be plentiful. Ā So enough of the intro, I present my first square, for your consideration. Ā I have always enjoyed those time-lapse photos. Ā You know, the ones where you take a picture the same subject, over a span of time, to create a before after type of effect. I kind ofĀ did one last month on my road before and after a snow storm. I took the photo today of the Mountain View as you head out of my neighborhood to say hello to winter in a way that would have to do with time. I also remember taking one, from the same place, in October. By featuring them, I had a pretty cool time-lapse scene. Ā Even better, the low hanging haze created a mysterious image. Ā I am sure there are those of you who think I am really reaching with that, much to my chagrin. Ā But imagine how exulted I was when I came across two more photos of that spot, one from the spring the other from the summer. Ā While the winter photo isn’t as visually appealing, especially compared to the spring photo, there is beauty in its starkness. Another reason why I love living remotely in the mountains. This is my happiness! When it comes to the four seasons, the forest doesn’t lie. Have a beautiful Sunday. Your mind is yours alone, do what it takes to make yourself comfy š

Yes! Sentimentality, sentimentalism, etc. is really good for the heart because it’s where I draw out inspiration for my poem. š Sorry for the late reply.
