Day 326 – November 22, 2018

Blue – A Photo a Week / Nov 22 – Which Way Challenge / Radiating – Thursdays Special / Nov 22 – Kammie’s Oddball Challenge / Fluid – FOWC / Grateful – RDP /  Oblong – WODC / Red – November Photo a Day

Happy Thanksgiving. It came, we ate, we nap. Both the boys were home, but my daughter could not come home.  Knowing she was with family made it easier, but I do/did miss her presence in the kitchen.  She makes cooking a lot more fun.  I am sorry for any of you vegetarian/ non-meat eaters.  I purposely did not feature any turkey images out of respect.  It took 4 hours to whip up the meal, which is one of the shortest prep times in quite awhile. Or maybe it was just the little red juice that made it feel like it was somewhat quicker.  And with the kitchen radiating heat from the oven, it was a lot warmer than usual, the juice also served as a great thirst quencher. Needless to say, the oblong shaped bird, was juicy, tender and flavorful.  In fact, everything came out very we’ll.  I even created a new dish that ended up being a new fam fave.  All in all it was a great day.  It was pretty darn cold, but the skies were blue and sunshine emitted a happy glow.  I am so grateful to be able to have the ability to enjoy the day with the family, provide a meal for the family, and have had the opportunity to meet some great people through this blog. There is so much to be thankful for and I am especially thankful for the win by the Cowboys ( American football team.)  I haven’t been able to focus on finishing this darn post because of them.  And I know I’ll lose viewers out there because of it, but I am a Cowboys fan. Tried and blue, but like politics, it’s something that I prefer not to discuss here 😬  In any case, whether you celebrate Thanksgiving or not, I hope you had a great day and hope for an awesome tomorrow!

    1. Absolutely. Even with the daughter gone, the boys came home and it was almost no stress. I do (root cowboys) and it is! And I love your challenge! Wouldn’t miss it. 😊
