Dog Day Afternoon

Day 319 – November 15, 2018

From Above and Below – A Photo a Week / Radiating – Thursday’s Special / Nov 15 – Which Way Photo Challenge / Nov 15 – Kammie’s Oddball Challenge / Belong – FOWC / Orchestrate – RDP / Soliloquy – WODC /

We had a snow day today.  Schools were closed and when I woke up I was thinking they probably made a mistake.  The roads were clear, as the last of the radiating heat from the ground cools down.  2 hours later it started and has continued ever since.  At 5pm EST, Nov. 15, I measured 9 inches of the white fluffy stuff (took it in 4 different areas) 😳  A couple of days ago I posted some photos on the street, in front of my house, looking from above and below.  Today I decided to try and duplicate the images so that you can see a before and after as well as the two seasonal landscapes.  It is one of the reasons I absolutely love living here.  And since the kids are gone there is no one left to go out and have fun.  So, I brought the girls with me.  I know I just feature Anastasia last week, but this is her element she belongs in snow.  She becomes so much more animated and playful in snow and Gracie even picks up a step or two.  And, of course, I didn’t have to orchestrate any poses, I let them have fun and they just become so much fun to click.  I have included some more winter fun pics down below.  Hope you are looking forward to a great Friday!

    1. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop in and leaving the wonderful compliment! I really appreciate it. I really think this was more about luck than skill. I did have to sort through something like 50 shots in order to get the few I ended up with! 😂
