Day 290 – October 17, 2018

Synchronicity – 24 Weekly Photo / MWM7 – Mid-Week Monochrome see below/ Prompt – FOWC /   Sport – RDP / Exploring – WODC / Landscape – October Photo a Day Challenge

There are some signs that Fall is here and winter is behind.  Landscape changes from colorful, falling leaves, pumpkin spice everything, everywhere, less and less people wearing shorts and more and more wearing sweaters and hoodies.  The bigger retailers with a ½ aisle of halloween decor, 3./4 to 1 aisle of fall/thanksgiving goods, and 3 maybe 4 aisles of Christmas holiday supplies. All 5 major sports are all active at the same time. There is a synchronicity that occurs with all seasons, but the fall is perhaps the best chance for everything to fall back in line (see what I did there?).  On the corner of two state highways that carry visitors and residence to Liberty resort, sits one of the better places you can go for BBQ.  What once was just a simple trailer with a smoker out the back and a couple of picnic tables, has grown (as its customers have increased) and every year there is something new added on. The roadside stop is only open Fridays – Sundays 10am – 5pm, and as the sign indicates, closes at some point in the fall.  Ever since its been there, perhaps 15+ years now, that sign is a clear indicator that summer is over and winter is coming.
