Day 289 – October 16, 2018

Reflection – Tuesday Photo Challenge / Places People Visit – Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge / Balcony – FOWC / Serendipity – RDP / Send Your Warm Thoughts – WODC / Macro,Micro – October Photo a Day Challenge

The show I was in closed tonight. I know a Tuesday you ask? Yes and don’t ask. I have no idea.  I just showed up when they asked me to, did my thing and I was out.  And I had a golden opportunity to find a subject to cover most of today’s challenges.  I just happened to be downtown, in the city, at night.  Serendipity, I tell you.  I was excited with Frank’s TPC – reflection.  One of my favorite subjects to photograph, but I wanted to do something different and play with angles, trying to catch one that creates an illusion of depth. I am not sure if that even makes sense to all you pro photographers (propho’s, that’s going to stick😬) out there or if depth is the right word, but I like it. I actually featured this location once before, which happens to be my most viewed post of the year Table Setting.  But this nighttime take on it, transforms the bar/restaurant into a hall of mirrors, or so it appears.  It really is just a lot of glass, but it does play tricks as to where objects seen in the glass, are.  I do feel like I hit the mark with this one as far as challenges, but it really helped that I went out knowing what they all were (even though I may have forgot one or two). Still, I was out in the wonderful fall weather, getting some fresh air, and enjoying a relaxing stroll down on Market.  What a great way to end the day.  Enjoy hump day, stay safe!
