Day 268 – September 25, 2018
Our World – Tuesday Photo Challenge #127 / PC #231 – MLMMC / Day 25 – #SeptemberSquares (still not the one B 😕) / Rubric – WODC / Migration – RDP / Violation – FOWC / Vintage – citysonnet DWP / Pastel Colors – Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge
Two photos today. The first is what I woke up to, the second what I drove home through. I really wanted to be able to catch the for arch of the rainbow, but I wasn’t treated to that. I did get the second reflective on, which is a good substitute. Dutch’s challenge was “Our World” which provided so many interpretations that narrowing it down to one (or two). I felt what a better representative, but a unique creature (big or small) basking in what little sun we had today and a beautifully painted sky set in another small break that was quickly filled in. As a teacher I know all to well the meaning and use of a rubric. The nice thing is, I don’t have to use one when I am taking pictures. (I would actually hate to see how I score 😳). I am not sure if walking sticks/preying mantis migrate, but for todays photo I am assuming they do, and I am to lazy, and don’t care enough, to wiki it to confirm. Besides, I don’t want anything to be in violation of my creative process. Just chalk it up to another vintage post to add to this years 365 collection. 😛😘 Hope you enjoyed your Tuesday. Stay safe!
On Another Note:
Well this is it! Such a mind-blowing milestone. Please do not think I am seeking any kind of recognition, I am not. Quite the opposite actually. Because if it weren’t for you, my Blog family, friends and visitors, there would be no way I would have ever reached this point. 2 years and 9 months of posting a picture every day has had its ups and downs. There have been so many days where I just wanted to quit. Especially in the first 2 years. In fact, I am glad that I never cared about visitors, views, follows, or likes because those numbers were non existent. But I was never doing it for anyone but me. As I have mentioned a few times and in the about me page, this is therapy. It is my constant. The fact that I have positive communication with so many of you amazing bloggers, and have created a number of strangely meaningful friendships, makes this forum so much more meaningful. So thank you. Thank you for your inspiration, for your support, your kindness, and for allowing me to continue to express myself through daily observations, levity and halfway decent photos. Here is to 1000 more!
