The Clock Is Ticking

Day 267 – September 24, 2018

Baseline – VJ’s Weekly Prompt / Scars – Manic Mondays 3 Way Prompt / Streets – Photo For The Week / Limbs – Pic and a Word 154 / Day 24 – #SeptemberSquares / Taciturn – WODC / Personal – FOWC / Quaint – RDP / Wind – citysonnet DWP

A few thoughts here.  I find it very rude that a parking meter, not only has the ability, but has the gumption to judge me or my parking ability.  Talk about leaving some deep scars. Of course, being so taciturn, to whom am I going to complain?  And it’s probably not just me (or is it?), but anyone else trying to park.  I mean how hard is it.  The baseline has been sent, even painted on the street for you and all you have to do is get your car in between the two points. Simple right?  And after you complete that task, you drop some coins in the meter, the time is set and you have to leave or put more in before the time winds down to 0.  For such a quaint city, I , or any other visitor may just happen to take it to heart.  As for me, well now it’s personal.  Have a great week! Stay Safe!

I am going to change direction of this post here.  This is my song selection for Manic Mondays 3 Way Prompt – Scars — This song has so many interpretations and meanings on so many levels, it never ceases to affect me (mostly in a good way).

    1. It’s amazing how some little thing can trigger memories you would have never considered until that moment. The other night there was this song that I heard in my dream. Some how, some reason when I woke up the song was in my head. I couldn’t figure out the title and just a couple of words stuck out, but I searched for combinations of those words and once I found a familiar song, I played it, and can you believe that I remembered every single lyric to that song, and not just that song but almost all of the songs on that record. It just blew me away. I have no idea why I shared that, I hope you don’t mind. But, Thank you for taking time to stop by and leave a comment! That means a lot!!

  1. It’s not just you: parking can be a hassle sometimes. Sometimes it takes me half an hour find a spot, and another 15 to 20 minutes to walk to my destination. This post made me laugh probably because it’s relatable, even though it’s no laughing matter.

    1. Thank you very much for taking time to stop in. It is my hope to illicit a laugh, because when I went to feed it, that’s what I was greeted with and I had a pretty good laugh. So I just wanted to share 😬😁
