Day 262 – September 19, 2018

Solitude – Weekly Photo / Day 19 – SeptemberSquares / Exemplary – WODC / Guess – FOWC / Copyright – RDP / Fall – citysonnet DWP

I normally don’t go back and revisit past posts.  For some reason I did today and I am glad. As I was scrolling through, I happened to notice that about 9 days ago I went back 10 days.  So I was on something like day 251 and then for some reason the next day I entered day 242.  Sad thing is, I had no clue, and I even have the number of posts listed at the top of my stats page which coincides with the day I am on. I am just glad I found it today and not like 50 days from now.  It was a lot easier to just fix the last 10 days.   So yeah, I am pretty sure no one noticed and I don’t know why I shared the story with you.  Must have too much free time on my hands or I don’t think that my post summary is going to be long at all. I have yet to feature any woodpeckers that hang out in the trees, around the homestead.  It is pretty tough to catch them as they spend a lot of time in solitude. And they are easily startled.  But you definitely can hear when they are around.  They are pretty active right now, collecting fall foods for the winter months.  When it comes to the art of foraging, these guys are exemplary with their craft, even if they have to start the hunt with a guess.  Pretty much like when I am using a stud finder, realize it’s really not working, so I just start putting little drill holes in the area of where the stud should be, leaving the wall looking like Swiss cheese.  Happy hump day! Stay safe.
