Lean On Me

Day 257 – September 14, 2018

Windows within Windows – Weekly Photo Challenge / #468 – Weekend Reflections / Week 2 – Pull Up A Seat / Grubby – RDP / Tease – FOWC / Eccentric – WODC / Day 14 – #SeptemberSquares (#inthepink)

Headed home this morning, but a quick stop for breakfast first.  I happened to catch the prompt for Travel at Wits End’s weekly challenge, unusually early for me. This gave me a chance to work on the prompt before leaving. In dance,  staged group performances, even in large group seating situations, one of the keys to seeing everyone, and vice versa, is to create “windows”.  Windows, in this sense, is the open space between the two people in front of you, allowing you to see or be seen.  For the photos above I used people sitting between me and the kids to create my window.  Probably too much of an explanation, but I thought it was important.  In any case, the sweet treats, in the window displays, looked amazing, just a tease to test temptation. And for once, it was a test I passed.  I’m not going to say my son was looking pretty grubby, but hey it was early, for him, so I cut him some slack, even if there is an eccentric air to this Ivy League school, these kids really don’t seem to care.  It is still college after all! (And I am pretty sure my “comfy clothes” when I was in college were so much grubbier!) Have a safe weekend!

Seven years ago I started this adventure not really sure what would be my imprint on blogging. Twenty-one hundred days later the evidence is in the following posts and I await your impression.
