Spring A Leak

Day 247 – September 4, 2018

Backyard – Tuesday Photo Challenge / Lime or LightGreen – Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge / Sept 4 – Pink September Squares / Energy – Ragtag DP / Tapestry – FOWC / Circuitous – WODC

This may not be my backyard, but I can dream. For a number of (lucky) residences that lie on the edges of the lake, this could be considered their backyard.  Not a bad set up, considering the bonus of not having to worry about maintenance and upkeep.  The downside would be all the duck poop that covers many of the sidewalks and grassy areas. And the droppings that, no doubtedly, splatter into abstract works of art on the many windshields not protected by garages and canopies.   I talked about fountains back in March and the power they have of bringing things back in perspective.  Today was one of those days where the need to “escape” was great and the energy of the fountain would help to quiet my restless mind.  Finding my “zen” I came to realize,  looking around at the tapestry of people, I must not be the only one who feels that way.  It appeared to me that others find that the circuitous flow of water, quiets the mind and calms the soul.  Talk about being “in the pink!”
