Happy Monday! Every day, dating back to August 2000, that I started my journey to work, I would come down the highway, and this house would stand out, majestically. Having the water tower, pretty much in it’s backyard, serves as a real life waypoint, helping direct your attention right to it. I often wonder  It was hard to miss, especially on sunny days, when the windows would reflect light from the sun, giving the appearance that the house was glowing. It is really impressive when you imagine the ingenuity that went into the design and layout of the house. It is just one of those landmarks that, if you happen to be out on a coddiwomple, the tower would be a great landmark to help reorient you and serve as a reminder of how close you are to home and if you are heading in the right direction (if you’re me or anyone that lives close by).  Yet, every day I drive past, I can’t help but to think of the question, “who the hell lives there, and how long does it take to mow the lawn so that it is meticulously manicured?” They are reasonable questions, I think. I can imagine an answer that would be of typical rectitude, and one that would be much more humble.
