I Heard It Through The Grapevine

Day 230 – August 18, 2018

Every so often we hit one of the many wine/distillery trails that are scattered around the region, and take in an afternoon of tastings and good food..  It is a great opportunity to take in the ambience of the many acres of serenity that are tucked away in the hills and valleys and discover some of the more local flavors.  Today was one of those days.  I have always felt fortunate to be in the town where one of my favorite, well known, microbreweries, Flying Dog, originates. From one location to the next, no two wineries, let alone wines/beers, are ever like. The cacophony of flavors are vast and I have to admit, it is tough to find something that I like enough to bring a bottle home.  But, I will keep trying.  Happy Saturday! Time for a nap! 😛

    1. Seriously? Cheapest way I know to taste some good stuff, perhaps find a new fave and enjoy an afternoon of music! Thanks for the sweet compliment! I’m blushing! 😬🍷😉😊
