Something Borrowed – Weekly Photo Challenge / Weekend Reflections #464 / Grudging – WODC / Energy – FOWC / Respect – Ragtag Daily Prompt /
Built in 1896, this 19th century hotel, borrowed the design of Romanesque architecture. One of the fancier “boutique” hotels, the Federal Pointe Inn, is one of the most affordable classy hotels in Gettysburg. Having stayed here once when I first visited, I remember “borrowing” a few of the amenities left for guests 😬. I was reluctant to go out tonight, as I was content just enjoying the beautiful evening on my front porch. But as it is Miss Red’s birthday, a dinner out was in order and a grudging trip to Gettysburg was on the menu. As is usual in cases like this, I did not mind it one bit to be there once I left. With an opportunity to capture this image, it was as if a higher power/energy was calling. And who am I not to respect that request and deny the call. Then again, maybe I just got lucky. Happy FriYay everyone! And, oh yeah, Happy Birthday Miss Red 🎂🗑🎉🎈
Wow, looks like a wonderful place!❤️
