Day 207 – July 26, 2018

Unrequited – WODCDreamer – FOWC / Salvage – RDP / Neglected – PAW / Splash – TSPick a Word

For the past 5 days I have had a complete unrequited affection for rain.  The dreamer in me longed for some sunshine.  After all, 5 days of being neglected, it came out blazing, salvaging what would have been a very miserable week.  And though some areas escaped massive flooding, most counties around me, were still in a flood warning/watch. I had some time to stop off at this covered bridge that crosses over Roddy Creek.  I really enjoy taking pictures of this covered bridge, that rests off the beaten track, but not too far out off the highway.  I must not have been here in awhile because there is a brand new small park with tables, grills and a bathroom sitting right next to the bridge.  I had intended to post a photo of the high waters running below it, but I decided on this “artsy”, dry,  shot that included the beautiful sun-filled sky. After 5 straight monsoon like days, if it weren’t for the suppressive humidity, today would have been perfect.

    1. I don’t know why but I can’t agree with you more. They are so picturesque. And I have 5 around me. I should have posted a pic of it from the outside. They came out really good too!
