Day 197 – July 16, 2018

Accomplishment – VJWC#7 /  Amble – WODC / Memory – FOWC / Open – RDP

For all you Jameson lovers out there, I am pretty sure you will appreciate the artistry that is this chandelier.  And I am sure, the site of this probably unlocks some memories best left locked away.  I have yet to take the time to count the number of open bottles that were consumed to create this piece, I can honestly say that I will consider one of my greatest accomplishments, during my adult beverage intake days (which happen to coincide with my first few years of teaching, go figure), was that I was able to amble away from the bars and keeping Jameson or Jack or Jim (what is it with whiskey’s and the letter J) or any of those guys, contribute to any lack of judgement that I may be carrying away, unbeknownst to me.  I have to admit, that’s a pretty impressive accomplishment, almost as impressive as this beautiful chandelier. By the way, if I made the piece, that would probably have been a better accomplishment to write about.  But hey, the photo is not bad, right?

  1. Irreverent is the word that comes to mind when I read your posts. I bet you were a fun teacher. What did you teach. I found a glass of wine helped moved the marking along just nicely – I was somehow more decisive, lol. That chandelier would be quite the accomplishment, however; staying out of the bars is something to be prideful of, I’d say.

    1. I would like to think it’s my way of showing respect for things that need to lighten up a bit. We should look at things more than one way. It’s why problems arise from things that just should have been laughed at! 😛Fortunately, they haven’t run me out yet and I am still in the classroom. And staying out?Well definitely more prideful today, if I don’t fall asleep before I even get up to go! 😂
