Day 193 – July 12, 2018

Quintessential – PAW / Fountain – Cee’s Black & White Challenge Splash – Thursday’s Special PAWC / Solace – WODC / Accomplice – FOWC / Groove – RDP /

I feel like it’s been a while since I submitted a black & white for Cee.  Truth be told, it has been pretty difficult finding a subject that would look good in b&w that would fit in with the rest of the challenges. And while today’s may be a wee bit of a stretch, I just thought the subject looked good in b&w, and it looked good in color as well, so it’s a 2 for 1 (even better, two different photos!) It was a great day to head to the park with my accomplice, Anastasia.  It also was  a great change of pace, as I sought the quintessential location to find a little solace just to escape.  For a while, as I sat there in a meditative trance, I noticed the water, as it fell over the side, appear to be small streams following an organized line, as though they were in little carved grooves. It was somewhat hypnotizing and it was very easy to lose track of time.  Then again, nothing is more soothing to me than the sound of the roar of the surf, the gentle swish of the waves, the rumble of a waterfall, or the patter and plops of a fountain.

        1. That’s so sweet. Thank you! Must be nice having the quiet. I have to steal time, usually, to catch up! It’s kind of crazy that I am able to realize I haven’t heard from, or sent a message to, someone in a while. 🙂💕
