I’m Taking a Quack at It

Day 188 – July 7, 2018

6 Word Saturday / Unusual Shapes – WPC / Embrace – RDP / Quintessential – FOWC / Gregarious – WODC

I found a couple of new challenges today.  Well, I found them before, then I lost them, and found them again today.  That combined with my go-to’s set me up for a pretty tough challenge, one that I was ready to embrace.  One of the prompts I am including today is 6 Word Saturday. According to Debbie over at Travel with Intent (a quintessential blog for photographers) the bloggers rarely stick with 6 words.  That is a good thing because I don’t think I would be able to submit many.  Instead the goal should be 6 word titles.  I went one further, I found some gregarious ducks, of which I managed to find a group of 6.  In all honesty at first I did not think I had 6 until I saw the one that has its neck in a circle.  That was a very pleasant surprise.  There are a number of elements I really like with this photo.  One of them is the conversation that you can almost hear them having. The tree limb at the top of the photo plays tricks on you as it can be perceived as a limb laying in the lake. It is actually suspended in front of me and the ducks are actually about 5 feet past it. There are others but it’s Saturday night and it is an absolutely amazing evening and I am going to try and enjoy it 😬  I hope all are in a great place wherever you may be! **believe**

  1. That’s actually a rock that they are standing on. I’ll add another photo to the bottom of the post 😬💕 Thank you for keeping me honest (I know I stretch it a bit much most of the time 😉
