Day 182 – July 1, 2018

Afar – TWIPC / Summer – Sunday Stills Challenge / Suspect – FOWC / Welcome July – CDWP / Serendipity – WODC

And just like that one half of the 365 is finished.  It hasn’t always been easy, and there have been times where I have seriously thought “no, not today”, but the encouragement through the dialogue through comments have really driven me.  So, if you are reading this, THANK YOU! You all are absolutely the best.  Of course, I have said a few times in the past that I don’t do this for likes or follows, but we all know, deep down inside, that it does help motivate you, especially on those days where you just want to give up.  So Welcome July! Only 183 days to go.  I love this dog.  For those who are new, this is Anastasia.  She is a husky-shepherd mix.  She, along with her sister Grace, have so far, kept me entertained this summer.  If there are times where I am just not all together mentally or physically, I know I can turn to them for a fast intervention.  Take today, I was feeling like I wasted the day sitting on my butt watching the World Cup matches. In pounces Anastasia requesting immediate attention and some exercise.  So out we went.  Obviously, summer is in full session with 100 degree temps. Not the prime conditions for anything with a coat like hers, after all they are bred for the cold.  It did not take long for the heat to start affecting her.  One of her favorite rewards is an ice cube.  I am not even kidding.  If I push the lever on the ice dispenser on the fridge, no matter where she is, near or afar,  she bolts to request a treat.  She especially likes it if you push the lever, without a glass to capture, so the ice can ricochet off the tray and she can catch the ice mid-air.  But the ice isn’t her only favorite treat, especially on hot days.  You can keep her entertained a very long time chasing water.  Again, not kidding.  I even added a little video clip at the bottom so you can see for yourself. It is like a light beam for a cat.  And she will often catch as much as she can, as if at a water fountain, to stay hydrated.  I don’t know who is more entertained. But it makes me laugh and laughter keeps you young. We are off with the second half of the year.  Bring on the challenges and prompts, I can’t wait to see what comes next. **believe**

    1. I know! Too fast! We had to do something to beat the heat. She doesn’t like just sitting around. 😳 So we make do. Just makes me laugh. 😁. Thank you so much for the compliment, it means so much! 😊
