I Got Big Bells

Day 178 – June 27, 2018

Relationships – VJ / Notorious – WODC / Kudos – FOWC / Indulgence – RTDP /  Confession – 3WP / Roof – June Month of Squares

I was in town today and had to park in the parking garage.  With it being still working hours, I found myself parking on the roof of the garage.  I really never thought about going up here before (to take pictures) so when I stepped out of my truck, I immediately grabbed my camera.  Frederick is notoriously known as the clustered spires.  That is because there are 5 churches with spires that are clustered relatively close to each other, like a religious relationship. These 5 spires tower over the city and create the landmark that the city is well known for.  The spires are one of the most photographed sites in Frederick.  This is a picture of the bell towers that make up the United Church of Christ. They are one of the features that make up the skyline. I have a confession, I only used this photo today because I thought I could cover the indulgence and confession prompts with a church related photo.  That and I happen to like how it turned out, and that I could use it for the roof June of squares challenge. So kudos to me. 😬

  1. At first, I failed to see how the spires relate to the challenge (relationships) and then on re-read, I spotted the “religious relationship”. Love that your mind can stretch to such connections.
