Day 177 – June 26, 2018

Navigate – Ragtag Prompt / Mystical – WDC / Death By a Thousand Cuts – #FOWC

The Appalachian Trail.  I talked about it awhile ago but today I went on a short hike just to get off my lazy ass.  The trail itself is not a very difficult one to navigate. Although there are a couple of, what appeared to be, trails that branched off.  Once I made my way through some underbrush that contained those vines with the little thorns on them, you know the ones that will thrash your legs with 1000 cuts (maybe a little embellishment here, although I figure if the cuts get infected there is a possibility I could die ((I also know that my interpretation of the prompt is probably more literal than what was intended)) ) In any case, someone of these little branches led into a more dense section of the woods, offering a mystical feel.  All that was needed was a nice low lying fog.  But it’s sunny and 85 degrees so I don’t think that’s going to happen.  But hey at least I got out and walked a little.  I’d say the day was a success.
