Day 171 – June 20, 2018

Anticipation – WDC / Check – RDP / Starts with a W – citysonnet / Almost – FOWC  / New – TPC / Opening – APAWC / Roofs>Rooves – June Month of Squares

Recently I have been going through my list of prompts for the day and writing down the words, challenges, and topics from the many blogs I have collected.  Afterwards, I look through the list and decide what words I can combine to create a photo that works for the prompts.  More often than not, I can photograph something that will combine 2 or 3 prompts.  I like to think of it as a puzzle, or a riddle.  After I wrote down todays prompts, It didn’t take me long to realize I knew what I could use that combines almost every prompt/challenge and solve this riddle. As a result this is the largest number of prompts answered (without stretching to answer) with one photo.  Almost every day of the week the mailbox is opened to check to see if any mail was left.  And some days, when you are expecting something new that you ordered, or a letter from someone close there is much anticipation.  So when you hear that familiar slam of metal indicating the postman left your mail in the wooden box, with a roof, keeping the contents dry and secure, you race to that mailbox.  Without realizing it, your heart races just a bit as you open to reveal what was left. With much relief, or disappointment, you carry the days deliveries back inside for a closer look.  I really didn’t need to continue past anticipation, but I can’t leave a story half completed, can I? Happy HumpDay!
