It’s Lit!

Day 165 – June 14, 2018

Relocation – Weekly Photo Challenge  / Roof – June Month of Squares / Nefarious – WDC / Age – Tuesday Photo Challenge / Synchronicity – VJWC

If my kids or students saw this title they would shake their head and say why? But they didn’t, so… Two down, one to go.  Things are going pretty well.  Of course, being the first time in a space like this, there are certain things that you really can’t prepare for.  When we started tonight there was a concert happening fairly close.  It was a real interesting twist to present Tennessee Williams to covers of Zombie by the Cranberries and Africa by Toto.  There were the concert goers who happened to park near the space who didn’t seem to mind letting folks know how much fun they were having. Nothing about it was nefarious, just enjoying life. We had a dog escape their owner, only to find itself in the middle of a somewhat tense scene.  You can’t make this up.  However, as the performance was wrapping up, there was this serene feel that created this peaceful synchronization of  mood and atmosphere. It could have been the warm lights that hung from the steel beams that served as our “roof”.  And despite everything else, not a single one of us would have preferred to relocate the show.

My Mentor

(Sidenote: I have not featured this blog in my 3 of Many yet this year. Possibly because I would link to his post every day.  I would have never started a 365 without his guidance and support.  He is now in his 8th continuous year of 365’s.  I really hope you take a look at his site and just scroll through just a few of his thousands of photos.)
