A Little Hangry

Day 139 – May 19, 2018

Typically dinner on any night consists of whatever is left in the house.  With the 3 kids, all but gone, the planning of dinners is no longer a priority. I am usually content with a bowl of cereal or PBJ which is usually all we have.  On those occasions when I decide to order out, it usually is very simple.  Things get much more complicated when that choice involves Chinese food.  I don’t know what it is but, when I look at a menu, what I thought I wanted is accompanied by things I didn’t realize I had an appetite for.  So the usual happens, I end up giving in and getting several different things.  I figure at least I will have tomorrow’s lunch and perhaps dinner.  This is probably why I should have just stuck with Captain Crunch.

    1. What’s worse is when you get through the supermarket with just the items you went for, but then once you get to the checkout counter, you start grabbing the gum, candy bars, a package of Twinkies and a bottle of Starbucks mocha. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop and chat!

      1. I have this habit of going to the bakery section of a super and look at the display.. Sometimes I give in to my cravings and buy cake or cookies(they are my favourite pastries) while sometimes I am strong enough to resist.
