Day 111 – April 21, 2018

Mallet DWP

Funny story. So as soon as I saw the prompt I headed straight for photo albums hoping to find some photos of me in high school. That’s when I realized was Mallet and not mullet. Imagine my relief. So tonight was an absolute magical evening. We closed the show tonight in front of a great crowd that consisted of people I have taught over the last 3 decades. Not that it has anything to do with this photo or even this prompt, I just wanted to share it. So why this photo. Well first, I found out tonight that the boat was built by a former student. And second when you think of a boat and Maryland, you think crab, and of course mallets are important in the crab eating process. It’s a pretty good stretch but it’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Hoping your weekend is off to a great start.
