Thunder From Down Under

Day 109 – April 19, 2018

Parallel DWP

I am sorry. I know that some of you really don’t care, but as we opened the 2nd and final weekend of the show I am limited with options as to what to post. And for the next couple of days, unless I get a chance to get away, my response will have to include show information. But I promise it won’t be tedious and I will at least try to make it entertaining, like today’s entry. One of the many cool things working with the group of kids I do, is that they are incredibly supportive of each other. Whether they are on, above, below or behind the stage they all know that they are in this together. And then you get things like this photo, where the members of the orchestra, support the cast by dressing in clothes that represent a scene or a theme in the show. It emphasizes that the importance and significance of both groups and that they are equally important to each other. (This is where the parallel lines are drawn.) Today was western night, as there is a scene in the show that is a rodeo fantasy scene. So all the orchestra members dressed in “western wear”. It is a really awesome way the company creates unity and the respect for each other is unparalleled. It makes anyones, who work in the field, heart warm. And here is hoping your heart is smiling.
