Need a Lift?

Day 108 – April 18, 2018

Genie – DWP

This is a little bigger model of the lift used to reach the highest points on stage. It is one of the most useful pieces of equipment that has saved me a number of times from using an extension ladder to get up and finely adjust a light or fix a broken curtain line. It just so happens that the lift used in theaters is called a Genie and I happened to be out in town today and got this picture of a bigger lift that actually helped answer this prompt. If I happened to be at school, it would have been the subject, but that would be boring. IMHO this is a much better shot!
