Songs For a New World

Day 105 – April 15, 2018

Song BWSunday

This is really two posts in one, as it is also Black and White Sunday (picture on bottom.) The picture up top (pardon the cover’s language – just makes me smile when I see it) is my response to the prompt, while the photo below is my entry to Cee’s challenge.  I was very happy about the BW picture, as it really needs no description.  Just an opportunity I took during the weekly Sunday breakfast.  The DWP is a little more vague, but not really.  I do wish this was the word this past weekend or next weekend as the show I am working on is a musical and there are a number of ideas I feel would have been ideal.  But since it’s not, well it is a little more challenging.  Back in this post, I mentioned a hobby of mine was playing guitar.  Well, I also like writing lyrics.  Sandwiched between the covers of the journals rest a number of songs, in various states of completion, I have started but really haven’t finished.  I have some music ideas for a few of them, but for the most part they are ideas I had or something that inspired me to jot them down so that I wouldn’t forget.  Problem is, there are so many that I forget what they sounded like.  Oh well, place that in the “to do” column (like they will ever get done, but one can hope!) It maybe Sunday but hope you find a reason for your heart to smile.
