All Work No Play

Day 104 – April 14, 2018

DWP – Deplete

Tonight is closing week one of our show.  With that come a few days of decompression and reenergizing, followed by three final shows. Despite all my energy and resources being depleted, my rest days are limited to just one. Monday I am right back at it  with another show just three weeks away.  Not to mention the one that I am in a mere two weeks away.  In no way am I complaining, I actually enjoy it.  I would be lying, however, if I didn’t add that I really can’t wait for May 6th to get here.  In the meantime I will simply enjoy each and everyday and not dwell on May 6.  One of the ways I know our show has been well attended is by the number of programs left.  In the past I would estimate how many I would need and more often then not, would be swimming in extras, which is not only a loss of revenue, but a loss for the environment.  I have learned, that it is far more economical to order them at least three times during a two weekend show, sparing unnecessary waste.  By the look of how depleted our programs I can deduce 2 things. 1 we averaged 300 people a night, and I need to order more for next weekend.  Things could be worse! Happy weekend! Find that smile in your heart!
