Dress for Success- DWP (Froth)

Day 101 – April 11, 2018

Finally have a few minutes to sit down and post real fast. I am glad I am, I need the distraction. Tonight was our last rehearsal as we open tomorrow night. It really is amazing how fast this day crept up. It really feels surreal. But the reality is that it is here and ready or not, by this time tomorrow we will have finished opening night. But in the interim I will rush to finish the little details and organize the administrative side of things. In any case, FROTH? Are you kidding? Who comes up with these words?  I’m not using a bubble machine so there goes my first choice, and all the lattes and coffee that had a froth is long gone. Besides I am fairly certain that has already bees done. So then what? So I decided to take the flow material definition and apply it. Because one of the things I am most proud of, is our costumes and especially our designer. These costumes have all been hand made and for a show with a cast of over 40 kids, that is a ton of costumes. And this photo gives you some idea of just how many that have been made. It is a tedious and thankless task but one that I am incredibly grateful for having someone who is one of the best there is. That’s all I got. I hope to have some good news tomorrow night. Hoping you have a smile in your heart.

    1. It doesn’t come easy. I tend to read them again after a couple of days and find so many mistakes or horrible verbiage. Constantly editing! Thanks for taking time to comment!
