Dew Drop In – DWP (Micro)

Day 86 – March 27, 2018

It’s raining today. Not that it’s a big deal, it rains a lot in most places. But getting in my car to head home, the drops that were hitting my windshield really started to get me in one of those, what I call, thought “loops”. Which basically is a thought that leads to another thought and so on. Before you know it you either have brought yourself around to the original thought (which then, obviously, continues the cycle.) or have taken that thought to a level where you just stop and say “whoa”. Anyway, the thought started with the rain drop and that what we see on the windshield is the drop hitting and splatting. But then how small does that raindrop have to be before it hits the windshield. Do we really know? You can’t really catch one without it splatting (you see how this “loop” gets started?) so how small? Are there bigger ones that make the bigger splat? Are those bigger ones on the shield bigger drops or are they the little drops that just accumulate, thus creating the water trail. Then back to the smaller drop that hits the windshield. How small do they start at? Is it just that they collect then get heavy enough to drop? Let’s not even get into steam, or mist, or condensation, let alone the where do the elements originate. And right on down to the smallest of micro detail (for lack of a better word.) It is crazy how one word can start the chain. Welcome to the “loop”. Stay Dry!
