No Fly Zone – B&W Sunday DWP (Swallow)

Swallow Eagles

Day 84 – March 25, 2018

The section of the Borough we live in, is what is referenced as the “bird section”.  All of the trails (streets) are named after birds.  So seeing today’s prompt my first thought was, naturally, something to do with eating. Not a real good subject, especially for black and white Sunday. Then, as we were driving to our Sunday morning breakfast tradition, the bird flew into my thoughts (see what I did there.) Before I knew it my mind went straight toward our trails and remembering that we have a Swallow Trail.  Driving up and down the trail, I stopped a couple of times to try and find a photo that was more interesting and attention-getting then just the street sign.  This was my favorite because of all the scenery around the sign.  You can see the types of inclines we tread on our hill.  You can see the side of the mountain that is home to Liberty Ski Resort.  The lake that is one of the feeder lakes for liberty to use to blow snow.  And a couple of homes, on the other side of the lake, to just give a perspective of how homes are built into the mountain (or hill.)  It just captured not only the “prompt” but more naturescape. And to incorporate Cee’s B&W challenge, I am going to take advantage of being a “newbie” to the challenge and  use a topic from a few weeks ago 😬, that of in the distance, for many of the reasons previously described.  I also would be remiss if I did not include Miss Red’s favorite B&W submission, and I could use the credit.  Hope your week is full of smiles and laughter!
