Hold for Music – DWP (Patience) B&W Sunday

Day 77 – March 18, 2018

I almost just didn’t get my post in today.  I really had every intention of posting earlier in the day.  I feel I lose a lot of views the later I post.  Like before, I decided to combine today’s prompt with my B&W Sunday, and was even hoping to create a photo that would fit a new challenge I found that is based on black and white photography.  Cee’s B&W Photo Challenge, is a fun addition to my B&W Sunday. I will take the challenge to include Cee’s topic, along with the daily prompt, and I am hoping to find one more to incorporate in my black and white photo.  I like a creative challenge.  So today’s daily word prompt, patience, would not be difficult to capture.  My entire day challenged my patience, and I had some shots to prove it. In fact, this post is so late because I was on the chatline with Directtv, addressing a billing issue that was resolved last month.  Talk about patience.  However I took this photo at an audition for the local Optimist Club’s annual competition.  This photo caught a few things for me that involve patience.  The dancer who was on her knees waiting for the music to start.  The judges who were waiting for the dancer to get set, The inserting of the CD and then waiting for it to load and adjust the volume.  Not to mention the dozens of auditioners who were waiting for their audition. And I am not sure which of the topics I am suppose to use (I guess I will figure that out) but Cee’s topic was seating of any kind.  The photo shows the judges in different sitting positions.  The dancer, may be stretching a tad, sitting on her knees, waiting.  And finally, when you realize it is an auditorium, you fill in the seats in the audience with your mind (I hope).  It was fun and I really like how the photo turned out.  May your light shine this week!
