Eyes of a Stranger

Day 54- February 23, 2018

The picture may bother some, but trust me, being in the same room as it is twice as bad. So why would I feature this as my postaday? The answer is pretty easy. First, it really looks like I photoshopped it. In complete honesty, I did not. It is as real as it looks. Second, I really felt like I was in the tavern that Gaston frequented when the town gathered to sing his praises. Third, I just thought that it was a really cool picture. But none of those really cover it. After a very long day, née, long week filled with unexpected twists and turns, pleasant surprises, some very out of the blue, baffling requests, really energetic kids, and just some very long days, it was a real gift to be able to relax and enjoy an hour or two with some amazing colleagues and friends. As one would expect, relaxing was the focus, unwinding with some belly aching laughs and anecdotes didn’t hurt at all. Apparently those proceedings were under a very careful watch. Happy Weekend!I am adding a new blog I have started following to my blogroll. It’s become a site I look forward to reading, especially on Fridays when the weekly Friday Faves is posted. Have a gander, HERE.
