Just Peckin’ Away

Day 43 – February 12, 2018

When I got home today, I let the dogs out.  Something I do everyday. As I stood outside with them, I heard that familiar sound of the woodpecker, pecking away in order to find its meal for the day. I went in to grab my camera, and when I came out, patiently waited until I heard the sound and was able to track down the bird. Thank goodness for the bright red crest or I would have never saw him.  Hope you all have a great week!
