Glazed Over

Day 36 – February 5, 2018

We witnessed one of the best Super Bowls in recent memory, even though I could care less with who won, have to admit any game that comes down to the last play is a great game.  What wasn’t so great was the complete mix of precipitation we received.  What started as a good snowfall, transitioned to sleet and freezing rain.  Combine that with temperatures that dropped into the 20’s and you have what I tried to capture with this show.  With the trees bare, ice and icycles filled in where the leaves should have been.  Along my drive to work (which we had an extra 2 hours of sleep) ice completely blanked every exposed object it could creating what I describe as a crystal wonderland.  Just a serene sparkling landscape.  Not a bad way to start a week.
