Looking Back

January 22, 2018 – Day 22

Just over 60 degrees in the middle of January will certainly call out many a people, to come out and take a walk downtown, in the sun. Combine that with a warmth we have not seen in some time and it call for a lot of people who had the same idea as I did.  Of course, while the weather was certainly a significant factor in getting out, I was also on the look out for some subjects.  Looking through what I took today, I kept going back to this one, because once I shot it, I knew I was going to use it.  This shop downtown just happens to be one of my favorites.  Their collection of unique and vintage items changes frequently and is worthy of at least a monthly (if not more) visit.  But it wasn’t just the shop that appealed to me, it was the reflection and the balance of the glass window with the logo, the inside of the store, sandwich boards that are outside and next to the shop, and buildings that stand across the street, capturing those rays.  Happy Monday!
