Shedding Some Light

January 18, 2018 – Day 18

The sun was shining bright today. Something that hasn’t been seen for a couple of days.  But when it’s out and the rays cast a warmth on your skin, especially after a number of below freezing days, it is invigorating.  I shot this today, when I got home.  When I stepped out the side door, there was something that just caught my eye.  It was like the warmth, I just talked about, was captured in this picture.  Which when you look at the photo, at a glance, you are wondering “what the heck is this guy talking about?”  I mean look at the bare trees, the colorless grass, even the patches of snow on the hill in the background, I can see your point.  And, quite honestly, I don’t know.  But maybe it’s the way the sun is casting the shadows of the tree on the bright shed.  The ladder and wheelbarrow capturing and reflecting the suns rays putting the thought of working outdoors in the upcoming spring.  In any case, I would be a fool to completely fall for this ruse. Winter is such a tease.
