Shave and a Haircut – January 11, 2018
Sorry for the lateness of this post. Another long day capped with an event which I ended up working. It did give me a little chance to get out. I went out with the intent on finding the shot that I wanted to capture this weeks challenge theme – weathered. And I hope I caught it. The sign on the window announces best. 1965, yet you obviously can tell that the art is relatively new. But then start to look around that sign and you will start to see that weathered look. From the door frame, to the classic barber spin wheel (which almost didn’t make it in) up to the sign, and then right down on the canopy, which I believe is the centerpiece of the picture and defines the composition. An awesome store front with some more “weathered” interior furnishings. It has definitely seen its days, yet continues to keep moving on.
