Needle and Thread – January 10, 2018

Every Wednesday I find myself walking downtown Frederick.  It really is an awesome place to be.  Don’t believe me visit his blog there is a link to it at the bottom of the page.  He has taken one photo every day for the past 8 or so years. He captures the charm and the friendliness of the city so wonderfully.  So while I was out today and sticking to a theme each week, I looked at buildings, architecture, nature from a different perspective than normal.  I wanted to capture something familiar, but looking at it from a different angle, that changes the whole landscape of your view.  Some of the coolest things we see are things that we’ve seen already any number of times and then when it’s paid attention to, it transforms.  This photo helps illustrate that theory.  That sign is about 10′ high, so when you walk past it you read it and walk away.  But if you took 2 seconds to just adjust your eyes and look at it from a new perspective who knows what you will see.  Well, at least I saw something cool.

Tomorrow is my first weekly challenge picture.  Already have some ideas in my head, so we will see how out goes,
