Jam Packed

fullsizeoutput_5a7aStrike Up the Band – January 5, 2018

Posting a little late as I just returned home after working tech for our annual Feeder school Band concert.  Our High School’s feeder schools include 5 elementary, 2 Middle, and our high school.  Each group of schools perform pieces on which they have collaborated.  Our drum team and color guard perform in between group changes.  At the end, the last piece of the night, all schools combine to play the final piece.  As our stage is fairly large, every inch or the stage, wings and even the 3 rows of the house were filled with musicians.  It was really a pretty cool thing to see.  I am not absolutely thrilled with the shots I took tonight, I had a hard time figuring out what the settings should be to even it out.  A wide angle lens would have helped.  Someday!
