He Sees You When You’re Sleeping

Window Shopping

One night, last year, as I was driving home from Frederick, I noticed a scene very similar to this.  It was/is a display of a moving Santa in a large window that overlooked one of the busier streets in downtown.  I really wanted to shoot it, but I did not have my camera with me.  Tonight, however, driving home I saw this display and fortunes prevailed and I had my camera so I shot it.  I really liked how they lit it, even if it is a tad bit creepy, it is still effective and eye-catching.  It almost does appear as if the jolly old elf is watching from the outdoors and taking notes before his flight in just a couple of nights.
