Weekly Photo Challenge: Changing Seasons

Just a little more.
Just a little more.

Running errands today I came through a mountain pass on 70.  After travelling a few miles in a thick blanket of fog, the blanket seemed to rise and for the descent out of the pass, the roadway was very clear.  While I really like this photo, it really doesn’t do the fog justice.  However, imagine, if you will, that where you see the mountains in front of you, you can typically see a number of ridges.

But when I saw the topic this week, I thought this photo could fit the bill.  We are oh so close to the dark gray days of winter. And as fall hangs on by a thread, the inevitable will soon be upon us.  Much like the fog dropping over the surface. While I really love snow and much that winter offers, I do become affected by the long dark nights and the gray and dreary days.  I miss the warmth of the sun and will look forward to its return and the next change of seasons.  December 9, 2012
