A Cheap Date

Deep Dish Discount

Yesterday was my daughter’s 13th birthday and today my wife and I celebrated our 18th year.  And to celebrate, our kids forcibly kicked us out of the house (so they could prepare a surprise), so we went to our local pizza shop and enjoyed a couple of discounted pies. I took advantage of this opportunity to compose a shot that I had messed with while we were eating.  It almost looks like the pizza is part of the menu, when in fact it’s not.  I really liked how the color scheme worked between the two subjects. But even after 18 years, we still can enjoy a cheap night out and be very happy with it.   November 26, 2012
