Weekly Photo Challenge: Thankful

La Sagrada Familia

When I saw the topic this week, I knew exactly what I would be posting.  The challenge came when I tried to get them together to get the shot.  Today was my daughter’s birthday.  The youngest of the three, she turned 13 and subsequently ended the adolescent phase of our family.  We now have three teenagers under our roof, and life just keeps flying by faster and faster. Regardless of how fast it is going, these three (and their mother, of course) are what I am most thankful for, whether they realize it or not. They are what makes the holidays, and this time of year, even more special and what motivates me to be the best that I can.  I wouldn’t want it any other way. November 25, 2012
