Quoth the Raven Nevermore

Or the Turkey Vulture

With it being Halloween today, I wanted to find something that would work with the day.  I was going to keep my eyes open all day, for a good shot.  I didn’t have to wait long.  As I left my neighborhood for work, I came across this very large group of turkey vultures just hanging out and drying their wings.  The minute I saw them I screeched to a halt, snapped off a bunch of pictures and knew that the Raven would be the title of the piece.  With the black and white, it just feel eerie and perfect for the occasion.  October 31, 2012

“What should I do about the wild and the tame? The wild heart that wants to be free, and the tame heart that wants to come home... I want to keep a place among the rocks where no one can find me. I want to be with you.” ― Jeanette Winterson
