Fall Down

I didn’t hear it

We have been without power for he last 24 hours, and while it is nice to have the reminder of how much we depend on and should be thankful for electricity, I am thrilled that it is back on.  This morning I decided to take a walk to track down the culprit.  I didn’t have to go far because just behind us the source revealed its ugly self.  You can easily see the lines under the tree and if you look close you can see the power pole snapped in half and a transformer hanging precariously in the background.  It is amazing what the wind can do.  October 30, 2012
